The Most Important Skill in Business…

Today’s ‘Thought’ will be an unusual format for you and I hope you follow along and get where I want you to go.  Glenn Dietzel and I have been working cooperatively on a HUGE topic for our business and our private clients.   But, Glenn has ‘speed to market’ beat me in laying this out for you via blog-post on his Sell High Priced Programs site, so we’ll just ride those coat tails and send you right over to Glenn’s new Post via the link below.

As someone who has sold millions of dollars of coaching over the past seven and half years, Glenn will tell you there is NO greater skill than this one…

What he will share with you are experiences born through ‘Speed-to-Market’ activities gained in the market place, and NOT from some lofty academic position big on theory and devoid of practicality.

    “The Power of Leadership”

    The Business of Selling!

Accurate Thinking is certainly the least popular of Hill’s secrets to success in Think and Grow Rich, but it is a subject I must constantly focus clients on.  Failure in this area is both risky and expensive.

I find that clarity is often demonized as negative thinking or being cynical rather than accurately accessing a given situation.  Norman Vincent Peale, creator of The Power of Positive Thinking was once quoted with saying, “Well, I didn’t intend it as substitute for sense.”

In the areas of Business Leadership, you must have sound strategies.  Success is largely about accurately determining what can be done and doing it.  And as we said yesterday, business is all about Selling.  Even the grand thinking and exceedingly optimistic Walt Disney made sure the first thing built at the location where Disney World would be developed in Florida was the Visitor’s Center, where souvenirs and toys were on sale from day one.
