“All News is Good News” for the Effective Leader

I share with you today a concept which I have been wrestling with and I hope that you will consider it and Share your thoughts in the Comments box below…

All news is good news is a principle suggested to me by a Mentor to internalize, accept completely, and live by.  However it seems that I am consistently faced with incidents which seem in their moment to defy this principle.

I suppose that this must be a mandatory precursor to living Napoleon Hill’s admonition that ‘in every adversity lies a seed of equal or greater opportunity.’  Nothing is ever as good or as bad as it first appears.

As I consider this and look back on my own life, I see a series of detours what looked bad at first, but turned out well.  This is very valuable to keep in mind in the present as I zip along through my plan given that probably and suddenly as if out of nowhere something will crash land immediately in my path and send me careening off in a new and unplanned direction.
