• Productivity and Control…

    “The Power of Leadership”

The worst mistake you can make to destroy productivity is losing control.  Losing control to anything or anyone.  Control and productivity are connected at the hip.  How can you hope to be productive if you’re not in control?  It then follows that the more control you exert, the more productive you are.

The minute you get distracted from your goals by dealing with somebody else’s priorities, you’re operating at the expense of your own priorities and are heading down the wrong road.  Doesn’t matter why or how it happens, whatever it is, you cannot let it happen to you.

We’ve discussed this before, but you should be planning each day, the evening prior.  Regroup, reorganize, and establish clear priorities for the day.  As each day goes on, unexpected things will happen, some good, some bad, but your time will certainly loosen in the reality of each day.  So, for maximum productivity, at the end of each day, put things together for the next day with a firm grip on your own priorities.

“Seek the counsel of men who will tell you the truth about yourself, even if it hurts you to hear it.  Mere commendation will not bring the improvement you need.” – Napoleon Hill

    Have a productive day!

You are so right. I start my day with a 1/2 liter pure water, then a quick powerful 20 minute full out bike ride, 10 minutes on weights, deep breathing exercise, organic healthy breakfast, shower, read my #1 most important goal for the day, and then set a timer for 120 minutes to finish the goal. Get er done!
