“The Power of Leadership”
Success Secret… Most successful people connect punctuality and integrity.
Many smart, successful, and influential people know and secretly use the test of punctuality in determining who they will buy from or not, do business with or not, help or not help, trust or distrust. If you are not a punctual person, others you wish to impress and positively influence will negatively judge you. Most successful people have developed systems for judging people quickly and have a list of instant rejection criteria to save time in determining who they do and don’t want to deal with.
These successful people know that getting work done on time, as scheduled, and as promised, is critically important. So, if folks can’t be where they’re supposed to be on-time, they simply make the mental connection that they cannot be relied on to deliver anything else on time either and move on.
I recently read a quote from a successful man who said that there were only two reasons for being late for a meeting with him: 1. You’re dead. 2. You wish to be.
Being punctual is on Dale Carnegie’s list of to do’s if you want to Win Friends and Influence People.
And you yourself can save a lot of time and trouble if you start using punctuality as a basic test to judge who you will or won’t do business with.
