“The Power of Leadership”
Here are the remaining visualization steps for building your dream home, or reaching any other worthwhile goal!
2. Visualization enables you to see errors and inconsistencies in your plan and take corrective action before mistakes become reality. Along with an affirmation, “I enjoy sharing my dream home with my family.” You visualize that home in the most minute detail, so that you can already experience what it feels like to possess it. As you do, you may spot mistakes in the floor plan or the decorating scheme and you can adjust your plan to correct for those mistakes before there are serious consequences of making changes. This is a big boost for your ego as well, because you eliminate the embarrassment of actually making a mistake.
3. Concentrated visualization enables you to refine details. As you begin to visualize, you will likely be limited by what you have already experienced. But as you practice the art, you will begin to separate those features you really like from those you don’t care for. So that when your dream home is a reality, it will have the distinctive character of your own style.
“Seeing is believing” was never more appropriate than when related to affirmation and visualization. When you set goals, affirm your belief in your ability to achieve, and exercise the art of visualization, you develop an almost miraculous belief in yourself and your ability to succeed.
