“The Power of Leadership”
Tony Robbins says, “Success leaves clues.” It seems that the Creator thought it a good idea to leave clues to success all around such that you really can’t even turn around, if you have your eyes open, and not find one. You can find clues at sporting events, in magazines, around your business, you can even find success clues on TV!
It is clearly a universal truth that self-discipline is evident in the story of every winner.
We’ve been talking in the “Thought of the Day” about the unbreakable link between time management and self-discipline. It requires tremendous self-discipline to productively allocate time and stick with your intentions. It is said that “the road to hell is paved with good intentions.”
There simply is no external force that can really make free men do anything. One must clearly define their own vision for themselves and then become one’s own toughest taskmaster. When you do look around, play close attention to the “Mediocre Majority” and I’m sure you’ll find that the one thing which is universally missing among them is self-discipline.
“If you’re going to do something tonight that you’ll be sorry for tomorrow, sleep late.” – Henny Youngman
