“The Power of Leadership”
Sometimes I see or hear something short and to the point, which strikes me between the eyes and sets my feet in motion. Generally, as is the case today, that message comes from Dan Kennedy (it is my humble opinion that in addition to the ‘Thought of the Day,’ you should read everything you can get your hands on from Dan Kennedy: www.dankennedy.com):
“What about you; this day and tomorrow, and the day after? A sign in my office says, ‘Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn’t matter if you are the lion or the gazelle, when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.’ Unless you’d like to leave the jungle for the zoo, where you are fed the minimum diet required for life and are kept in a cage. If so, pray daily that the zoo-keeper never runs short of food. There is no happy, neutral, middle place. Jungle or zoo. Zoo or Jungle.”
“The only unpardonable sin against nature is standing still.” – Robert Collier
Have a great day in the Jungle!

I am a gazelle with a confident smile on my face.
I am a Lion with a cocky smirk.
Have a great day, Thomas!
